Irmscher is known for having its components much more closely integrated with the final product. For the 2010 Opel Astra, Irmscher has offered a strikingly sporty design coupled with pure driving dynamics. The exterior features a new front spoiler lip, a radiator grille panel with design rail in stainless steel or carbon look, seamlessly merged side skirts and an agile-looking rear roof spoiler.
Inside, there are custom leather for the seats, the door panels and the central armrests. Irmscher also provides additional interior refinement in the form of aluminium door-locking pins, sill panelling in stainless steel and aluminium pedals.
Handling is improved by using an air diffuser and simultaneously lowering the suspension by 30mm. The exhaust silencer with its elliptical twin tailpipe enhances both looks and engine roaring. Adding new "Turbo Star" 18-inch wheels with 225/45x18 tyres (bigger 20s will be available not long after the car's launch), the Irmscher Opel Astra provides greater track stability and even more driving safety.
