Mercedes Benz has just taken the wraps off its 2010 GL-Class facelift, and excitement surrounding BMW’s X5 and X6 SUVs is still going strong, especially with the reveal of the new M performance versions. And now Infiniti’s QX56 fullsize SUV is seriously starting to show its age against these rivals in the luxury SUV segment.
Recently, Infiniti announced the pricing on the 2010 full-size QX56 which is on sale now at dealers nationwide. Pricing for the 2010 Infiniti QX56 will start at $56,050 for the 2WD model and top out at $59,150 for the QX56 4WD. Both are equipped with a standard 320hp (277kW) and 393lb-ft (532Nm) of torque 5.6L V8 engine, 5-speed automatic transmission, leather trim and a long list of luxury and technology features. Other features include xenon headlights, LED detailing, 20in wheels, a power sliding moonroof and power-operated rear liftgate.
Inside, the QX56 still offers seating for eight (with the optional 2nd row split bench seat), as well as a hard-disc navigation system, a 12-speaker Bose stereo and XM Satellite Radio and NavTraffic as standard.
Buyers can opt for features such as a Technology Package with adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, an entertainment system with a DVD player and 8in screen, and two wireless headphones and remote controller. A Tow Package, standard on the 4WD model, is also optional on the QX56 2WD, and maximum towing capacity is rated at up to 9,000 pounds.
