Powered by 2.5 liter five-cylinder turbo engine, the standard Ford Focus RS gets already impressive 224kW (305hp) and 440Nm of torque. Now, German Ford specialist Wolf Racing, adds more power to the car. The result is 265kW (360hp) and 559Nm at 3,100rpm. The car will appear at the 2009 Essen Motor Show which takes place from 28th November.
The tuner has also made a lot of adjustments to the chassis and suspension system to cope with the extra power. For instance, there is a new multi-plate differential lock installed on the front axle to improve the handling. The suspension can be lowered by some 30mm while the coilover suspension also helps improve road holding.
As for the styling, the Wolf Focus RS gets a choice of 18, 19 or 20-inch light alloy wheels cut in various finishes like matt black, while exterior colour choices include red, orange, charcoal or other colour strips, and the interior options include aluminium pedals and foot rests.
These upgrades range from €1,299 for the engine to €399 for the 19-inch wheels down to €98 for Wolf stickers.
